Thum Insurance Agency, L.L.C. has developed a specialized insurance package for International clients who wish to tour the United States with their own recreational vehicles. We can provide insurance for International customers who will ship their own motor home to the USA, purchase a motor home or RV in the USA or lease a vehicle in the USA for travel. Thum Insurance is your comprehensive insurance provider for recreational vehicle coverage throughout the USA (including Alaska), Canada and Mexico.
For the traveler wanting to explore Europe, a second program is also available. Clients from the USA and Canada may be interested in shipping their motor home, car, travel trailer and tow vehicle or motorcycle to tour in Europe. Thum Insurance would be happy to assist you with either program which could provide you with an experience of a lifetime.

International Traveling TO USA, Canada and Mexico
Thum Insurance is able to provide insurance coverage for your International motor home or travel trailer and tow vehicle while traveling in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Thum Insurance agency L.L.C. has developed a comprehensive insurance package that would meet the varied needs of overseas motor home owners with the most competitive rates possible. The policy provides excellent coverage for third party liability and physical damage to the motor home as well as contents coverage while touring the United States and Canada. Coverage for physical damage to your motor home (collision and comprehensive) while in Mexico is provided, however, a Mexican liability policy is required and can be purchased through our agency.
The International Insurance Package is available to:
• Clients who ship their own motor home or RV to the United States from overseas
• Clients who purchase a motor home or RV in the United States
* Clients who will lease a recreational vehicle in the USA
* All types of recreational vehicles: motor homes, campers, toads (car towed behind your
motor home), travel trailer and tow vehicle (car or truck).
* RV’s used for Personal Travel or Business Use
* Clients without a U.S.A. address
* Clients with national or international driver’s licenses
* Short and long term policies depending on travel time: 3, 6, 9 or 12 Months
* Vehicles valued up to $500,000 (higher limits on approval basis)
* Recreational vehicles with foreign license plates
The following insurance coverages are available on the International Insurance Package (coverage may vary depending on the state). • Emergency Vacation Expense $750
• Unlimited Towing (To the nearest repair facility)
• Vacation Liability $10,000
